Basketball went well today! Nathaniel made two baskets and had a ton of fun. He does a great job guarding, now he just needs to rebound. And Sammy did great. He is so excited there is only one game left.
Mom volunteered to take the girls during the games and make cookies with them. That was so nice. It has been such a pain taking them and trying to wrestle them (mainly Grace) on the bleachers. So it was good to relax and just watch. They had a great time making chocolate chip cookies, smelling lots of different spices and reading The Gingerbread Man. I guess Anna determined the river of water was really milk and once the fox got in it he couldn't control himself and had to eat the gingerbread man. They had the most fun when pretending they were the fox and got to take a big bite out of a cookie. I could tell Grace had reenacted that part plenty of times by the time we got there! It was really fun for them and I'm glad she thought of it.
